Restaurants

Cecconi's in Dumbo, Brooklyn - Steps from the waterfront park path is this smart Italian restaurant and bar.  We like the bar for drinks and a pizza.

L'Atelier and Le Bar de Joel Robuchon returns to NYC in Chelsea with this modern restaurant in close proximity to the Meatpacking District's boutiques, bars, clubs, and High Line Park.

The Aviary atop the Mandarin Oriental Hotel gives you dramatic city views.  Dine on award winning Spanish influenced molecular cuisine.

To Do

Wintery walk on the waterfront in Brooklyn Bridge Park, where brisk breezes off the East River will get you ready for a hot drink in the nearby 1 Hotel.

See the famous scaled model of Manhattan, "the Panorama" in the Queens Museum of Art. It is art of the storyline in the movie "Wonderstruck."  Afterwards, check out the iconic 1939 World's Fair Unisphere in adjacent Flushing-Corona Park.

See the beautiful sculptures by Isamu Noguchi at his Noguchi Museum in Astoria Queens, where afterwards you can enjoy the hearty fare in one the neighborhood's famous Greek restaurants.

Audubon's Birds invade Upper Manhattan in the form or gorgeous murals of endangered species.  A brilliant public art project that you can experience by walking and being outdoors.
