Self-guided Tour to Berlin Landmarks using the S-Bahn Metro

A fun inexpensive way to tour six of Berlin's most popular landmarks and attractions is by riding the elevated S-Bahn #S7 train. You'll glide across the scenic Tiergarten, zip between historic buildings and over inviting plazas. Get a Multi-Stop or Day-Pass ticket so you can easily jump on and off at any station. Zoologischer-Garten-Bahnhof

See: Berlin Zoo: The zoo’s world famous collection of animals includes a famous chimpanzee exhibition that the nearby Bikini Haus has a terrace with a great view of the animal enclosures.

Tiergarten

See the Tiergarten and take a relaxing stroll along pretty gravel paths, past picturesque lakes and passing over charming bridges. Afterwards, have bratwurst, a pretzel and beer at the park’s lakeside cafe called Cafe am Neuen See.

Hauptbahnhof and the Reichstag

See the Hauptbahnhof & Reichtstag:  Get off the train in the remarkable Hauptbahnhof, a cool, glass-enclosed, multi-level main train station. Walk out the back of the station and across the Spree River and you're in the Tiergarten. Here you can see the famous parliament building, a.k.a. The Reichstag.

Hackescher Markt in the Mitte District

See the Hackescher Markt and discover its fantastic maze-like collection of inner courtyards, called hofes, that are filled with interesting shops and charming cafes.

Fernsehturm

See the Fernsehturm,Berlin's famous and iconic Soviet-era TV tower. Take a ride to its observation deck. The Fernsehturm measures 1207ft or 368 meters tall and is located in the middle of the vast Alexander-platz.

East Side Gallery Graffiti Wall

See the East Side Gallery, part of the infamous Berlin Wall, this is an open-air gallery where the wall is covered in artists’ graffiti works. The Berlin Wall is a national landmark and this section is among its most famous sections.
